Tested with 22635.3139 and everything worked as advertised including the driver integration (which I'd had a problem with in earlier versions). Thanks for all the hard work.
With DISMTools 0.4.2 you will be able to get general information about a driver package, and not just its hardware targets. Thanks to version 3.1 of the DISM API, this is now possible: You can also copy this information to the clipboard if you wish.
In a future version of DISMTools (maybe 0.4.2, maybe a future one), OS uninstall capabilities will be introduced. However, this requires testing the OS uninstall functions first. As such, here goes upgrading a Windows 8.1 VM to Windows 10 and then rolling back the upgrade!
One new feature in DISMTools 0.4.2 is the Recents list, which you can use to load your recently used projects quickly. Recent projects are saved to a file called "recents.xml" and are saved when you close the program. You can also remove unused entries by selecting an entry and clicking "Remove entry" To load a recent project, simply double-click its entry in the list. If there's an issue with this list, let me know. And, happy St. Valentine's!
The same script used to detect missing French translations now has a second use - detecting missing Portuguese translations:
Future versions of DISMTools will follow a branding refresh with lighter tones that give a refreshing feel. The first version that is expected to come with this change is version 0.5. Here is a mockup: What do you think? Since I haven't started working on 0.5, this branding refresh may be slightly changed.
Well, this picture is what I use to modify the version resource of the splash screen and, for the splash screen itself, I use an image with no transparency as a background. This could be done because a layer in that image is a PNG with an alpha channel. If the background looks nice in dark mode and blends in with that layer, we could set the background color manually. However, I'll need to figure it out once I begin working on 0.5. Maybe the splash screen could be aware of the system theme?
Yep, it takes away a decent amount of retina burn. The left corner is still light, but not that bad. Reminds me a bit of the default Win7 wallpaper.
Yeah, I've looked at it and it's a noticeable improvement. The splash screen will now use this dark variant. However, the lighter green tint will still be used in the header and side panels of the project view when the program is set to light mode
