No ghosts, but many years ago at a friends house while playing poker, 8 of us witnessed and undulating smokey gray object appear from nowhere over the just off from center of the table, literally at eye level and travel to just off one edge and disappear. It made no noise, one of us swatted at it and made contact. His hand went right through it, he felt nothing, it did not react to the contact. But to this day, he has a stain on the back of his hand like a grease smudge. He still gets strangers telling him he has something on his hand. If one subscribes to the current theories on structure of the universe(s) and super scalar string theories, then one has to acknowledge the presence and interaction of many different dimensional qualities within and on our reality. If one believes in God or a invisable higher power, then other entities have a place to exist. Science is just beginning to get fleeting glimpses of some of those dimensional fluctuations, much to their surprise and sometimes dismay. There is one thing I know for sure and I have solid proof of it...I don't know squat!
I can't say that I've seen a ghost. But I've heard one. My grandfather died in 1963. Thirty some-odd years later, I was home alone, and I swear I heard him call my name twice from the next room. Naturally, when I went to investigate, there was nothing to be seen. One more thing that might be paranormal but is probably just something strange that's been stuck in an obscure corner of my brain since it happened. It's a recurring dream I have of a friend of mine who died suddenly when he was 8 years old (I was 10 at the time). The dream: I walk into a dark room, and in the center of the room there is a single light on the ceiling shining straight down, making a small cone of light. He is sitting in a chair directly under the light. As I approach him, I can see his mouth moving as if he's trying to tell me something, but I don't hear a thing. I keep repeating to him "Bobby! What is it you're trying to say? Talk louder! Tell me!". I can see he's trying very hard to say something, but I still don't hear a sound. At the very last moment, before the dream ends and I wake up, I suddenly realize what the problem is: It's not that he cannot talk, it's that I cannot hear him.
I've heared a lot of stories about ghost, but it is disappointed that I have never see one before. If ghosts exist, I'm sure that I can meet my grandpa. I really want to see him, because he had gone before I was born
Yes, they exist. However science can not measure other dimensional beings with just 2D and 3D tools. It is easy to understand this, check Carl Sagan. (10 minutes video - worth the watch.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnURElCzGc0
I am a member of 2 paranormal societies.. My work place is haunted (been here for 8 years). I have always seen dead people, my entire life.
I remember seeing two as a child - Not even vague. One was a dark shadow at the bottom of my stairs, the other was a typical Hollywood ghost, just walking between walls.
It's a difficult subject. I don't but I can't deny that I saw some things like the shadow of a man leaving a room and wasn't the only one that saw that. And many other things.
Nah, it would be really stupid if something that looks like a blanket cut itself ran all over my house.
