Do your mods only apply to win 7 activation?

    I ask the question in the title because I have a P5VDC-X Asus Motherboard with 0701 Bios latest on Asus site.
    I already have Win 7 installed and activated but have trouble with the BIOS Microsoft says it is a known issue and Asus will not be updating BIOS for Win 7
    It is all the power saving feature of the BIOS that don't work e.g Kernel Power etc
    I have to completely disable all power feature right down to never switch monitor off because I can't get it going again. hence the question in the title.
    Can you help make this BIOS win 7 compatible?

    Can someone answer this so I know if it's wasting time putting in a BIOS request.

    Pretty much its just SLIC modding and occasionally inserting Nvidia cookies for SLI support. Sorry :(

    I think your issue is the S3 suspend issue that plague many old system.
    Basically if S3 is used Windows goes to sleep and never wakes up.
    To fix the issue enter BIOS and set suspend to a lower S1 sleep state.
    That fixed my system.
