    Interestimg. If you click the "Download" button for "Hotfixes and Security Updates included in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1.xls" and open the file, KB971033 is listed on the "Update List" tab of the Excel file.

    I'd therefore assume it's included in SP1. Either that or Microsoft is trying to pull a fast one. Wow, imagine that.

    Maybe KB971033 is included only when installing SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2.

    KB971033 is not bad :D Just do not use blacklisted keys :) Use KMS, DAZ, or MSDN keys or MAK ;)

    Gotcha. Or even the purchased keys. KB971033 can also be uninstalled and from what I've seen it's removal is complete. But as an eternally curious person, I do wonder what its being listed in the Excel file means in light of comments here that KB971033 is not included in SP1.

    Yeah, one of my many male faults is I RTFM pretty often. But I like your interpretation; makes sense to me.
