I scanned several Windows 10 hard drives with sfc/scannow that have WMC on it and found each one came back with "found corrupt files and unable to fix". Does the install files to install WMC change some system files? If so which ones?

Maybe it's better to ask in the sticky "Patch to use WMC..." thread?

Use this search string to extract the errors from the cbs.log:
    Code:
    findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

Both the v8.8.1 aren't changing/patching any system file. But V12 install WMC using dism so the system is properly informed about the added package and maybe will look to download the unpatched files from WU.

I made the V8.8.1 installer purposely to avoid the problems the some users had using the V12.

    That's all.
