Does windows 7 enterprise edition require activation?

    I have windows 7 professional edition installed, and it requires activation. No big deal, but I hate to send data to microsoft. My university is offering the enterprise edition for a decent price, just wondering will this require activation just like the professional edition?

    Yes it does but only KMS And Mak activation channels.
