First delta is not for all languages and second there are no deltas for all files. So while I apreciate your tips, I'm still wainting for Server 2012 spanish VL.
Offtopic: Yes, because it is an agricultural based country, so industrial crisis goes excluding them. BTW: It doesn't mean to be an arrogant comment or so, it just stated the facts as their wage could be actually... what... 35% of EU average...? something like that... I was same poor person BTW, when I lived in Slovakia in past. Well, downloading retail instead evaluation + patch IMO isn't stupid at all, when ISO with OS is maybe only one that really matters. What IS stupid, IS requesting language specific ISO (sorry Velocidad ), when the crazy languages can be enabled by 40MB language-pack CAB file. Those people love the localized Windows Setup probably. BTW: When the entire world will finally speak English? BTW: No offense to anyone... ...just my opinions... Still have to thank to the velocidad for sharing one ISO I haven't
I am sure plenty here are thankful for what you have given to the forum. I can understand why your sick of trying to help people though. But cheers anyway.
No offense at all, it's just I'm a little lazy Don't get me wrong, I really apreciate the effort you put doing deltas, but correct me if I'm wrong: there are no delta to Server 2012 spanish VL, right? Probably can be done, but as I have 0 idea how to it, I can just try to get it other way. PD: sorry If I sound ungry on what you quote, but english is not my native language, trying my best
Well it's called a direct download link for a reason. I suppose it might be, but we're talking about a server OS here. Knowing how to run a simple program on the command line is essential. It's not my native language either, but I have seen enough badly localized software (with translations which make no sense or, worse, which are plain wrong) to know I'm not going to install anything other than the original language versions if I understand them reasonably well. Try Googling an obscure problem with only a localized error message...
From the above link at max speed 2012 Storage/Foundation would take over 11 hours to download. Someone... somewhere... Please just torrent it.
If you've waited this long, would 11 hours really be that bad? Take the foil off your windows, and go outside.
well, what did you expect, it is 3,5 GB file the site is completely stable and provide 70kBps without drop-outs, so just leave the PC overnight
What did I expect? Dunno. I mean I can get much larger files in a fraction of that time so... Better is what I expected I suppose.
The site may be. What about the dozens of networks on the way to the PC at home? Can't resume unless your fork cash. Way to go. DDL sites are parasites that leech on warez. Even Usenet is waaaay better, although not free either. But at least Usenet is ONE giant common pool, not hundreds of sites that each want to leech on your purse.
Ok, no problem, use NNTP then to get it. That is work for routers, not theme for users... OK, if you can get it in the fraction of time, just do it.
Coincidentally, I have Usenet access which is why I'm definitely paying for yet another crappy site. And as we all know, routers never fail and connectivity has a 100% uptime. Duh.
Your opinions about the TCPIP are little bit strange: 1. There are no "dozens of networks" between you and the source point (for example I've just 8 routing points between me and the site on the opposite Earth hemisphere). 2. If the packet doesn't reach you, routers will just switch to another way and resend it and you will even not notice it. 3. And yes the big routers almost "never fail" and if they do, you will also not notice it, as different way is chosen for your packets. 4. Uptime: My VDSL has about 2 months uptime and this (short time) is caused, that I had to reset home xDSL "modem" (router) due to enabling new IPv6 just 2 months ago. So don't post nonsenses and buy yourself a book about TCPIP to figure out, how inet really works.
What isn't nonsense is that on a 100% stable connection the transfer died for me anyway overnight. Good waste of bandwidth that.
