Most likely impossible, I think SHSXS.DLL unlocks the new task manager UI, it must be enabled. This is why 7989 has no advanced task manager.

I have installed Developer preview 32bit, it was the fastest intstall I have seen, will install 64bit today, very impressive operating system 32bit flies on amd athlon x2 quad core, no drivers to find. There are a few bugs but none the less very very impressive.

installed 32bit on medion touch 4020d, takes a little to get used to, dont worry about closing apps they do that when left unattended or you go back to the desktop. If you have touch screens calibrate with the windows app

I think, it depends on which's PC you install. installed on HP dv6 very smooth and same disk install on old desktop, its ask for the key, i think you can skip it,on the bottom it has skip button, but not try yet?

I've another finding: If you install the DP on an pc with Internet connection, it activates automatically.
But if you install it on an pc without internet connection, Windows is not activated.
It doesn't Need activation, but without activation you can't change the picture from the Login screen.

    Strange BIOS behavior

When I'm using Windows 8 DP a day long and I reboot a few times a day I have no issues.
But the next day at turning on and booting up the bootloader gets stuck, the wheel stops.
At this point I can only use the reset button.
The following reboot the bios shows errors and suggests me to press F1 to load setup defaults.
Yesterday I thought it's just a random crash, but I had the same behaviour today.

    Anyone elso too?

I think it's a Problem with your pc, because Windows cannot do anything in the BIOS.
