    I tried to install W8 Developer Preview x86 and I received the error with code 0x0000005C and Parameters: 0x00000200; 0x05250631; 0x00000005; 0xC000000E.
    Laptop is Acer Aspire 5610 which OEM designed for Windows Vista. It is now running Windows 7 Ultimate without any issue. Anyone knows how to fix this?

    FYI, I was able to install and run Windows 8 Developer Editionx64 in VM box. Unfortunately NAT does not work and therefore no Internet and also no sound. Systems info: MB Asus P6T Deluxe V2, CPU: Intel Core i7 920; Nvidia GTX265; 12 GB DDR3 1800.

    If you have an always on internet connection it will activate.
    Still not clear as to how long it will stay activated but I read it could be till March 2012

    No, iPhone 5 will be launched today.

    Yes, build 8102 will expire on March 12th 2012.

    MS's holding a fair for interacting their engineers with folks who'll feedback about WDP on Oct 8th and 8th. So that means no beta at least till then.o_O
