    Strange, with new Media Creation Tool, it's ESD (install.esd)
    With 1703, it's install.wim

    It was and still install.esd
    they just named it install.wim earlier fo some reason

    For 1703, it was install.wim in ISO with the Media Creation Tool "1703"
    Now it's ESD may be because more versions are present in ISO 1709 (reduced file size)

    yes. I installed it on another empty partition that I believe long ago. the use link I got it running ubuntu live cd. Does not allow running non-store programs? (firefox). and I could not activate it by having my digital file ok. EDge can not change the search engine to google. every time the windows entangle things like penguins.

    Really stupid question. If I download Enterprise build 16299.15, will I forever be on the Insider Preview ring?

    16299.15 has been released to the Public. It does not expire and IS NOT an Insider Preview Build.
