Did you uninstall KMSpico completely before the switch? Should be the best, else it will use the old (wrong) task and always revert it back to Pro.
No. So, should I uninstall it before even upgrading to Enterprise, then upgrade and finally install it?
Weird, I did it but after using KMSpico to activate Enterprise it reverted back to Pro. I didn't even reboot the PC.
Uninstall Pico. Switch system to Enterprise. REBOOT to complete any pending processes after the switch (some entries are only changed after the reboot, without most tools will fail the edition detection). Reinstall Pico. That should work.
It didn't work, I have the Pro edition again. So, could you give me the steps? I should uninstall KMSpico, switch to Enterprise, install that tool and reboot?
@Tito @Ahsan I am sorry that I am coming back to my posts # 2207 & # 2216. I did the Windows To Go test for Rufus. On the attached screen shots you can see the difference that is important to me. In the WinToUSB program, the Data partition remains intact.
^good point this dawn I also have this problem then I don't know how to make Windows to Go without destroy my another partitions therefore I prefer make use of old HDD to test new IP's
Why not just copy the data you want to keep from the usb pendrive, create the bootable usb pendrive and put the data back when it's finished?
Hi Enth this is my issue as I say yesterday for you in this time I resolve try install IP 17666.1000 as Windows to Go but or I don't make correct thing or I don't understand this program WintoGo then is more easy use old HDD what you think bro?
use a tool " mini tool partition manager " to convert your MBR volumes to GPT based system and then use the below settings in Rufus to create a bootable USB of windows 10. use these settings.. dont forget to load iso file.
yep I know, but I always prefer test OS in production mode and VM is one good alternative too so thanks anyway bro
