Manually upgrade or you're in fast ring insider and received the 17134 via Windows Update?

 

MS should really go back and compile one more. All these bugs listed and reported are small and situational and therefor no showstoppers themselves but the sum of them makes for a concerning low quality of RTM if they choose 17134.1

 

I always do a clean install and I have all the bugs reported. I must be lucky.

I wish, people would also list their hardware config, maybe it is hardware/drivers related, like AMD/Intel/NVIDIA or something like that, since it is crashing the shell. Not AV issue, I do not run any.

 

The test I did was on a Lenovo X201 so nothing too fancy, didnt test on my main Laptop (MSI GT70) yet, since its still running 16299.371. So weird all these bugs..

I'm running 17134 on my MSI gaming laptop (Intel i7-HQ 6th & NVIDIA GTX) and no annoying issue. I saw other posts reported that they had serious problem like crushing on AMD machine after many hours using.. Not sure if you have AMD too?

Edit: if the bug is caused by drivers, then it is not serious a problem, and 17134 is ready to serve.

If you could try 17134 on your MSI gaming laptop, we would have more ideas.

I'd like to notice even 17134.1 build has the same bug of the app "Tips" opening and suddenly closing when booting in "Safe Mode" (key 4 during on the boot menu).

Same bug was also reported on some 16299 (Redstone 3) builds and fixed later with cumulative updates (which increased Delta number). Now it seems appeared again
on both 17133.1 and 17134.1 versions.

Microsoft has still something needs to be fixed.

I see but I'm still not sure what exactly causes the bug since some people doesn't have and some does. And people with AMD are likely to have bug while the blue side (Intel) doesn't. Still not sure tho..

LOL You're right. You don't need them if you don't use them. I'm actually a research student having some research projects using C++, so I need SDK. By the way, I am just excited to see the new SDK because as I remember, for the previous RS3, the availability of new SDK was the sign that could tell me which or what build was going to be RTM.

yep I also try develop some "things" using C++, C# and some others too although I'm self taught but I'm sure that only learn with correct and confiable tools No beta tools so only rest wait for this dangerous Build 1803 or maybe 1809 LOL only my 2 cents

 

Is there any kind of ESD Dump like what november_ra1n did with 17133.1? All of the scripts that download files grab only Home and Pro. I would like to grab the ESDs for enterprise/education.

 

Whatever he did, it probably was homebrew.

UUP editions are Home and Pro (+N) only, all others you can create yourself, for example, by using @s1ave77's WES (wim edition switcher).
Or the virtual edition creation script @abbodi1406 now includes in his UUP>ISO v15 tool.

Or just install pro and insert the key for the desired sku, it all can be done by license switch now. When you put a pid.txt, containing the desired sku key, inside the "iso\sources\" folder it will directly install the desired sku.

 

quick questionif anyone after the upgrade play any games as: Far cry 5 and got any kind of crash randomly after playing few hours ? thanks! (only for upgraders)
