I personally find it hilarious that he speaks of development, "poor code," and scripting, yet the only thing he is able to do is copy and paste VHD images of him using other peoples' developed content and post the latest build update info. It's like someone who has never done quantitative research before chiming in about how an actual researcher does not follow the scientific method properly. It's just redundant drivel.
Depends. If you are just looking for a file name then yes. If you are scanning thousands of text files (or .docx or pdf) that contain a certain variable or other text string then you need the contents indexed. I do this multiple times a day so I need Windows indexing. These programs like Everything, UltraSearch etc don't index contents so only help if you remember the name of the file but forgot where you put it which is a pretty minimal use case I'd have thought. If you can't remember where you put a file you are hardly likely to remember what it is called. Perhaps they give some benefit in some odd situation but I can't think of any off the top of my head. I turn of indexing on my old 2006 MacBook (running 17134) though as otherwise it overheats on boot and shuts down. If it didn't actually crash I'd leave it on.
And yet most developers actually thank me for my tests, they get a lot of info from them, and i have even founded some developments, unlike some here who only post to cause mayhem, like David Hager Johnson does from time time. When you don't have a clue about the interrelations on MDL, maybe it's better not to get involved and show us your excellent or even extraordinaire social communication abilities. Fact is: adguard doesn't post, reply or gives support on MDL for members using his copied UUP tools or the co-developments he did/does with some MDL devs.
I was one among thousands of employees using Windows 95b, and this OS was stable. Windows 2000 was also stable. The Data Center edition could process mission critical applications. When XP was lunched it was not perfect but service packs provided statability. For personal usage, Windows 10 is perfect, but in an entreprise environment you encounter problems because, in general, you have to migrate from a (stable) Windows 7 infrastructure. For example, the biggest company in France is still using Windows 7. Migration is far from being a trivial effort. What is feasible for a home user (one new release every six months) is not to be considered for entreprises (that's the reason for LTSB).
Oops! The last few pages seem to be off topic here..? Miss MDL and you guys here and just come here and sound. By the way, hope to see a CU on the coming Tuesday!
@dhjohns my old buddy, I have to disagree, I would rather have 3 thousand well trained experts looking for bugs than 10 million who don't difference between a bug and a Orange God King, lol
This thread need a moderator to cull the nonsense (this is a opinion and in no way presented as fact, this comment included!)
I disagree, finding anything in my download or documents folder is a massive pain. I know the name of the anime or game I've transferred from the seedbox but wading through all the stuff on the computer is annoying. With "Everything" it takes 2 seconds to find it.
uup.rg-adguard method is final release? because when i check iso by dism says me like 17133.1 but i installed and shows me like 17134.1 looks anything using mixed files by 17133 and 17134 i don´t know
@JayPea: Sorry but talking about Windows natural progression to 17134 is not nonsense in my book. Maybe a little off topic on lazy Sunday afternoon, but not nonsense. Moderator, I'm chilling and you want to call the law. In prison if they caught you talking to a guard, that would earn you a special name (Rat) and of course you would be rewarded (when they turned lights off). Bottom line is even though we wander we are keeping 17134 in sight. lol
Check the thread title: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...tm-17134-1-pc-fast-slow-rp-rs4_release.76889/ I don't know what you mean by "check the iso using dism"?
i don´t asking about final rtm version, but about full 17134 version, because its looking have 17133 files mixed using this method by create iso
