Indeed, MS always does, that why I want the official version as well. It will be 17134.1, but it will be packed with a few different files. I really hope, that network protocols will be fixed finally.

The MCT always creates ISO with install.esd. Do it manually by downloading the ESD and convert it with ESD>ISO v37 and you can select "create iso with install.wim". Why are you so hung up about install.wim or install.esd, just convert/decompress the install.esd to install.wim when needed.

I trust MDL so much that over the weekend, I used ESD from here with ESD to ISO converter. Then built up my PC and laptop with 1803 and apps. All done and MS ISO is now required for future use only. What will ISO serve when ESD is available beats me. The only thing is whether ISO is 17134.1 and that looks quite certain. 17134.5 ISO is also not an issue or a deal breaker.
There won't be an ESD/ISO with different files. The ISOs already went to OEMs and MS won't dare to change them last minute . All bugs will need fixes via CU and the ISO will be updated after a while as always.
