[Downloads, Info and DISCUSSION] "Windows 10 April 2018 Update" Final 1803 [17134.xxx] (PC)

I'm getting this but it is still creating the ISO. Will this affect anything -->
Warning:
neither Host OS or Windows 10 ADK is detected, using winre.wim as boot.wim

 

On 8.1, however how does that winre being used as boot change or affect anything?

Which on a basic clean install shouldn't affect anything anyhow, correct?

 

Nevermind, this one doesn't boot either, it just freezes my PC.

 

I'm gonna try to install 1709 and try this all again, maybe try it there.

 

You can do it on VM to save time..

 

to install language cab file what DISM command is used ? thx

I did a fresh install of
17133.1.180323-1312.rs4_release_clientbusiness_vol_x64fre_en-gb
Thinking it was final. Will there be a windows update in the future that will make it final? Or anything easy enough I can do? Thanks.

 

Nope. I mean you don't have to install 1709 on your current Windows 8.1 and create the ISO after. You can just install the 1709 on VM, and then create ISO. This way, you don't have to do the clean install two time, or it's up to you.

Yes it's the best option if he could use it, but earlier he said he was going to install 1709 and start all over again.

 

Well, I just wanted to install 1709 anyways, so that way if it still doesn't work at least I'll be back on 10 and off 8.

 

All insiders will get 17134 and further updates, and for now, only fast ring receives 17134. If you are not insider, you have to upgrade manually or do clean install.
