Potential minor bug. Twice now after leaving my laptop in screen off mode (set screen off when lid closed) the mouse pointer will not be displayed even though it still works and I can click things, I just cant see what I am clicking. This only happens if there is a maximized window and the screen is off for some time. If I win + D the problem goes away. This is a 4K screen so that could be related.
It's probably a test CU, fixing small stuff, only available for insiders. IP CU's never will show up outside the IP rings, only when we fetch them from the database or by a network sniffer, check the sha-1 and regenerate the downloadlink, like @abbodi1406 did this time. His post is promoted at the OP
You need all files from the UUP pack, not only the main edition ESD . If you create on Win 7 the winre.wim is used as boot.wim, so Win 10 is mandatory for proper ISO.
hi, i have this problem. in power & sleep settings i put the screen to turn off in 5 mins and sleep set it to never. but when the screen is off and try to move the mouse to open the screen then in power & sleep settings the screen goes to 30 mins and sleep to 1 hour. why is this happening? is it a bug? any way to fix this? i have the Pro for Workstations build. thank you!!!
If this is true, then it is a bug. Configure the settings in Group Policy for now, until it gets fixed, if it is indeed a bug.
can u tell me the steps to do this my friend? i want the screen to turn off after 5 mins and sleep to never. thank you!!!
This resolved the issue for me: Open Services.msc, make sure the following services' startup type is "Automatic" and status is "Running": a. Function Discovery Provider Host - Automatic (Delayed Start) b. Function Discovery Resource Publication - Automatic (Delayed Start) c. DNS Client - Automatic d. SSDP Discovery - Automatic Also, if Network Discovery keeps turning off (Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings), execute the following at an elevated command prompt: Code: netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="Network Discovery" new enable=Yes
thanks for the help but i mean from Group Policy. anyway i think i found it. i'll leave it this way until a fix will come.

Same thing happened to me. Used 17134.1.180410-1804.RS4_RELEASE_CLIENTENTERPRISE_VOL_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO as an upgrade my current VirtuaBox Win-10 and the upgrade went OK. Went to connect my "Transfer" drive that had all my software, and nothing showed up. Prior versions showed vboxsrv and the you could just connect to it. Installed the latest version VirtualBox-5.2.10-122406 along with the matching extension pack. No change. Shared folders didn't show up. Deleted the entire virtual machine, and installed a fresh version from the ISO. No change. Fiddled with the network configuration. No change. I had wasted enough time, so I just deleted the virtual machine, and restored the prior working version of Win-10. And when I went to connect to the shared drive, and it showed right up. Without being able to access the shared drive, there is no way to install any software. So the latest and greatest pretty much history as far as I'm concerned. .
That would be a lot more likely had I not just updated to the new build. I do not ever remember seeing this happen before the update but with that said, obviously now I am keeping an eye out for bugs specifically.
