Windows 8.1 has a very strict Digital Signature Verification process. Modded drivers without such a signature can only be installed in special Windows Advanced Startup mode, using selection #7 that disabled Driver Signature Verification, but once PC is restarted normally, Windows 8.1 will lock those drivers. Thus, you have to go through the tedious Advanced Startup mode process for each reboot... Is there no way to help that at all? Some talked about Kernel Patching, but I never found a patcher like that. Could someone maybe come up with a quick-working shortcut or a .bat file that would restart PC using the Windows Advanced Startup mode, using selection #7 that disabled Driver Signature Verification????????? Anything? Otherwise Windows 8.1 driver modding is going to just die...
