@ExtremeGrief TXTSETUP.SIF search for wmilib.sys and paste the following lines: storport.sys = 1,,,,,,3_,4,0,0,,1,4 DOSNET.INF d1,storport.sys Dietmar
@diderius6 @ExtremeGrief The file TXTSETUP.SIF does not storroprop.dll = 100,,,,,,,,3,3, ah storprop.dll = 100,,,,,,,,3,3
@ExtremeGrief To save yourself alot of hassle I recommend using the optional patch integrator included with Integral Edition. It'll automate all of this. use options 1,3,4,5,7 then press X. If you have the problematic 149C controller you'll need to buy a 3rd part USB card, at least until a fix is found.
If I try to boot integral edition it's stuck at Setup is starting Windows Is there no way to get 149C USB?
@ExtremeGrief Make a try with Ramsey XP with ALL USB disabled in Bios Dietmar PS: And use as Sata driver only the AMD Sata driver(!) from Ramsey, Option (I).
@ExtremeGrief Ramsey is the author of integral edition. For freezing at "Setup is Starting Windows" try pressing F5 at the start of textmode setup and then select "Multiprocessor ACPI PC" In my case this was the only option that did not freeze, all other HAL options did not work for me.
@ExtremeGrief If it's anything like my Threadripper 3960x - It might be panicking over too many CPUs (It doesn't like more than 32) Try turning off SMT and 1 or 2 CCX in BIOS and see if that allows you to continue. If you have a 3960x like me, turning off SMT should be enough.
@ExtremeGrief Do you get the same behavior with Vanilla Integral Edition ISO? Try the optional patch integrator with ACPI/AHCI/USB3 but without the NVMe driver, on VMs the NVMe driver shows this behavior, perhaps it is also doing the same for you.
@ExtremeGrief 7B BSOD can be either AHCI or USB3. At least you are not getting A5 BSOD. If you're using USB as your installation media I suggest getting a 3rd party USB3 PCI-E card since we don't have a fix for the 149C controller at the moment.
I don't have extra USB cards or PS/2 peripherals and can't get any at the moment so I guess I can't get USB working on my PC. When i integrate the MovAX xHCI driver it will get stuck at Setup is Starting Windows.
@ExtremeGrief Use a SATA CD rom drive, because without working USB, any USB devices do not work. And use only Option (4, I) with the Ramsey XP Dietmar
