ha ha ha.....no dude dont jump off a bridge....listen did u downloaded a fresh image to do the clean install...what version u install 14257? is software related your hardware is good, so your problem is not that bad......i bet is something simple that u over look.
or u can try this install win 8.1 if u see the optic drive their....then do a upgrade to 10. whats happening to u is real strange u mite have a ghost is your machine
You did run something like (I hate recommending these things) Iobit Driver Booster, then goto AMD and download the newest drivers for the APU before trying the other things ?? I didn't see anything on the Notes for the upgraded BIOS versions that'd make Me lean towards that, but do You have the latest BIOS installed ?? I'm pretty sure that You've already checked that the ISO You're using is good so I hadn't mentioned that. So____ I'm outta options except to roll back the OS
Bios done that, the newest bios is good. My Windows is good also just install it in 2 other computers. Last solution maybe try to reinstall windows 8...... Lievre
that pic is from your device manager yes......thats a driver issue hold on let me see if i can find the proper driver for u.
here i found this.....in the MS community. If the drive does not show up in the Device Manager try the following: Right-click the Start button > Command Prompt (Admin) Then, at the command prompt type the following ( you can copy and paste) and press "Enter": reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001 Restart the computer.
ask at Asus for a solution ... same bug here with ASUS Bios on 10.0.14260.1000.rs1_release.160203-1700 sometimes it helps make bios to default and reinstall 1511
Have you tried uninstalling the drive and its driver from device manager, followed by a hardware rescan? Have you tried installing chipset drivers?
For me only that helps Reset the boot order to the default Full Clean Reinstall 1511 -everything not other-
not sure if u did this but set the bios to default settings....and try post #39 not a bad idea mite as well u tried everything else.
