How do I edit a windows ISO file. I want to remove some KB files that were integrated into the ISO. Thank You for any help. I have an ESD ISO from Generation2. When Murphy78 stopped making ISO's I have been using Gen2 with no problems. He has some tracking KB files integrated into the iso that I would like to remove. I spent about 6 months trying to make my own ISO but not was successful so I stopped. A lot easier using Gen2.
UISO cant remove updates integrated. Updates are integrated to the *.wim file. You need to mount it and list packages first. I use AnyBurn
Of course it can't. Open asked how to mod an ISO. I assumed he had already an idea about the WIM part.
I downloaded version 1.7 and got error. 1.7 does not support ESD. It said I need version 2. I could not find a version 2.
Just use MSMG. It does whatever you like, including converting from esd to wim and viceversa, adding/removing packages to the wim image, build ISOs and so on. It's free and well supported here on mdl
>I made changes to my first post. Thank you . Your talking about homebrew wich is not suported here . I sugest two solutions ---- > Either make your own iso ........ wich is easy ........ and people here will help you doing it ........... or .......... go to the site where you downloaded the homebrew and ask them .
