Emachines oem slp key/cer WIN7?

    Since Acer owns emachines, and gateway now. Is it okay to use key/cert Acer? I don't see a key/cert for emachines in the 2 main stickys.

    Using the Acer key and cert will give a succsessful bios mod. I dont think too many bios mods have been picked up by KB971033, however if M$ get to a point where they they start matching bios information to hardware then you will have to wait and see. Personally i would not be too worried.

    Emachines, Packard Bell and some other brands use Acer slic and Acer key, if you use that you are safe :hug2:
