Error 0x80240017 while installing Xbox Music on Windows 8.1

    I got "x" mark on music app's tile then I uninstalled it and tried to install again but I got error 0x80240017. I also deleted app folder from user\appdata\local\packages\ and windowsapps\ then again tried to install from store but same error again. already used Modern app repair tool and Wsreset.exe

    I would also like to know the answer. Apparently, this problem can be bypassed by opening new account with admin privileges, but that is just too much hassle. Anyone else with this problem?

    same deal here.

    started happening recently.

    maybe it'll go away with 8.1 is officially launched to consumers
