Right click 'my computer', select manage, then go to disk management. Post a screenshot of your disk structure - how many partitions, how much free space, etc. If you have created recovery media (DVDs for reinstalling the original OS that your laptop came with) you can get rid of all the partitions and do a clean install into unallocated space and let Windows create whatever partitions it needs.
