Sorry but I'm confused . My Windows 7 disc is already an iso disc . Are you saying I have to redo with imgburn and then afterwards use Rufus ? Thanks
You need an Windows 7 ISO file like: en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso and NOT a Disk!
I understand now , pls keep in mind I am a Novice user . I had already a Windows 7 iso file / disc which I downloaded from this site . But even still I have try both the MS program and Rufus and each have failed . My misunderstanding was I thought I had to load those 2 programs onto a usb stick but that not the case but rather just install and use those 2 program afterward try to load the W7 iso onto a usb stick , but again each one has failed me . So I guess I need to redownload the Windows 7 iso file again .
Doesn't matter if you are a novice, you do not have to be an expert to follow simple instructions given by multiple people
I wish I could show you a image were the Microsoft USB tool failed to finish . When I ran that program all I did was select the W7 iso and have it pointed to my usb stick which I had it but it fails to finish . It said the selected file is not a valid ISO file. Please select a valid ISO file and try again
Yeah it does matter to me . Again my misunderstanding was thinking I needed to load those 2 programs onto a usb stick which I now understand . But thanks for everyone that is helping
Well would you say it is if I got the ISO from here ? And I am downloading it again . I can't wait until I get my 20 post so I can show the 2 programs each failing to finish .
