Why would you want a non genuine ISO when they are freely available to download direct from Digital River ?

There are monthly integrated ISO available in places. They still are 100% genuine. Digital River ISOs have not been updated in over 2 years.

What does diskpart have to do with anything?

Are you talking about something completely different to me?

If you are not going to use untouched ISOs that work with Win 7 USB tool, then use diskpart to make a bootable USB drive, kinda the entire subject of this thread is making a bootable USB drive for OP

And Win 7 USB tool not working with modified ISOs is a nice touch to stop you installing a malware ridden ISO

You cannot call them 100% genuine ISO files when they have been modified in any form and any download links allowed on this forum are for none modified ISO files user said he Downloaded from MDL link.

Well said urie. let me rephrase what I meant, I mean 100% genuine as in not modified in any other way than integrated updates (which I know are not aloud to be posted on MDL). I'm sorry to cause confusion but the OP should try manually making the flashdrive bootable instead of using a utility.

No confusion here I know what you meant some of the ISO's are created by member on this forum ( bout time we had an official windows 7 Service pack 2 ) it is ridiculous the amount of updates needed to get windows up to date since SP1.

OKAY !!! First off THANK YOU !! to all that help this noob . I'm not sure whether if it was a bad disc or a corrupt iso file . What I done was what Anarchist9027 suggested in post 33 . I was able to perform the first part but couldn't go any further with the CD BOOT part and I had the correct drive letter listed , it wouldn't recognized the disc . So in the mean time I was redownloading the iso W7 file from site here again . So after I couldn't finish Anarchist9027 I try the MS tool and this time I was able to load it onto the usb stick . I'm now in the process of installing W7 ... SO THANK YOU !
