Is is fairly sad that people who claim they are IT professionals believe that "attempt failed retrying in 60 seconds" for an innocuous communication equals thousands of surreptitious snooping instances

 

Where is all this coming from, have you been "touched" from upstairs

 

Is there any proof for your statement of innocuous communication? I would like just one person that defends these communications to give us the proof of what the connection are being made for and what is being sent. If you can not tell us why windows 10 connects to approximately 70 different MS ip address a week (by itself) with an enterprise version that has telemetry turned off and numerous group policies enabled than a one line statement is really of no use. It has nothing to do with tin foil hats and more to do with understanding what is going on and the disclosure of what is being carried out. Those that are happy not knowing or not caring are free to go graze in the MS green pastures of blind trust.

I notice that in the past week we have had a lot of brand new members starting these doom and gloom, "I hate Windows 10", "I hate Microsoft" threads. I guess with the recent negative revelations about Apple and IOS, they are not feeling fulfilled in the iSheep forums and are branching out.

 

Are you sure it not more of a case of Micro$oft hating us for our freedoms ?

I have zero problem with anything in Windows like that, I just put feedback to none or never, and the other data item to basic. I'm not too concerned with Microsoft trying to make their OS better. Windows is good, but that seems to be taboo nowadays even though it is by far the most popular thread on this board.
