Just wanted to say thanks very much for this. Getting a genuine copy of Windows 7 after a HDD failure has been a nightmare! Windows recovery site is down and in any case they only allow for retail purchases. It's Microsoft logic like this that keeps me searching for ways to migrate permanently to Linux. No sneaky tricks! Thanks again!
another thanks from here. Is there anything else I need to know other then its a ISO? I can just burn to disk like any other ISO? I read someone talking about "loader" and I do not know what that little ditti is. I use Roxio to bur ISO's. Again thank you to be more clear, is this a 30day trial?
I am trying to download this file en_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_676939.iso but with no luck. It gives me network error. Could you suggest some other way to download it. I am using Chrome. Thanks.
just wanted to say thanks for this. I am behind the times and had no idea digitalriver stopped having these available, but thankfully came across this alternative
Once WinRAR is installed right click on on your downloaded .rar file and select extract or extract to from context menu P.S. do not extract the extracted ISO file with WinRAR.
