Ah thanks, works great just tested on my laptop , so how can i see if sli would work with my mobo ?. Everest shows the slic is installed but how can i test this ??? i have a ATI card on my pc.

wondering the same thing...does your comp stay in test mode at all times for the mod to work? what does test mode even mean?

I do not have dual PCI-E slots nor the 55 chipset, and I can easily recover a bad bios flash. I would like to try the mod simply to assist in testing. My only questions are this: Is there any testing research/value that can be obtained from me testing this on something with only 1 PCI-E slot? (E.G. is there a tool I can run/section of RW Everything I can look at simply to confirm it worked and data I can upload to you for examination, and if it doesn't info I can provide to assist you in getting it to work for others who actually have 2 PCI-E slots who can take advantage of it? And can this mod be done on a mobo bios that has already been 2.1 SLIC modified?

I have a MSI P45-8D motherboard.....

 

I don't see any reason why it can't be done on any AMI Bios board really, however it's pointless unless you do have 2 x pcie16 slots but for testing purposes it'd still work.

Everest's latest beta can be used to see the Nvidia SLI information and so can acpiscope in XP

 

P55, there is no moded hal or drivers for P55 atm... however i read there might be some new method as well, that will eliminate all moding of hal/drivers.

x64 and "problems" with unsigned/selfsigned drivers they are working only in test mode... its a "securty" feature.
