I just installed ultimate 32bit on my vm and used the windows developer crack after installing sp1. I updated with the KB940510 update and got told my copy is not genuine, blah blah! I guess i wont use that one again, lol
i Just noticed that a patch activator for developer is available for Vista. It emulate bios ( Asus), probably this is the reason M$ not disabling Asus moded bioses, but it is only matter of time.
Btw is this update one-time scan or some new background process that constantly monitors Vista for hacks or performs scan at startup?
Could you elaborate on this "patch activator for developer"? Where can it be found/downloaded? Is it different from the known ones (Paradox, Stro, softmod.iso)? solracna
i just installed sp1 on my physical machine, which is modded with asus slic by cero from mydigitallife forums.it never worked before. now it did. my assumption is, that after i installed kb940510, which exited silently and therefore accepted my copy of windows as genuine, sp1 would also accept my windows as genuine and install fine. kb940510 did make some trouble on my VM, but then again, it never complained about my asus slic in my gigabyte bios. which makes me laugh so, another one which goes the way of the walk... hahaha... MS go f*** yourself!

Hi to all! How do you obtain KB940510? My Vista Ultimate with PARADOX driver has automatic updates enabled. It seems to be up2date, but hasn´t this update installed until now.... Do i need SP1 for it?
Still nothing on my Vista Ultimate SP1 x64 (up2date). Maybe is KB940510 intended really only for 32-bit systems?
