I would say KIS2010 because it's the only one who runs continually and does lots of things in the background.
All others only runs when you launch them, but remove also WinRAR 3.90 Beta 5 and use WinRAR 3.80, betas are always betas and can be bugy.
And drivers probs generally gives you bsod.

    Im trying now everything new.
Before I had WinRAR 3.80 and there still was that problem with explorer.exe
And I was using KIS 2010 on WinXP and there wasn't any problems.
So I dont think its KIS fault.

I uninstalled Adobe and Java and testing now.
Maybe Java or Flash files messing around with system files, I dont know.
We will see if problem still occurs. But as I know life, error will show up soon...

KIS 2010 is not even final yet, and I can find no references to system requirements on their site. Is the product certified to run on Windows 7?

Out of all the things that could screw up KIS is the biggest. If an AV product is not certified to work on Windows 7 I would not use it because it can cause all sorts of issues.

    Thank you for your reply.

I tried to turn off KIS 2010 when this problem occured, and tried doing something in explorer, and the problem was still occuring. I looked also into the services.msc to disable Kaspersky, but it was already disabled.
So I assume that its not a Kaspersky fault at all.

Im using notebook (ASUS X57Vn), and almost all drivers were installed with Windows7.
Windows Update only installed drivers for card reader, infrared, and update driver for Network device.
I manually installed only nvidia graphic driver.
Maybe its problem with BIOS? I have AMI Bios, but I dont know how to update it. I tried to look for newer versions but I couldnt find anything.
Motherboard in my notebook is probably the same one as in M50Vn version.

What I see, is when this problems occurs, whole explorer.exe restarts.
The problem is occuring also when I try to delete some files, even by hitting "Delete" button on keyboard.
And whatever Im gonna do after this restart, problem still occurs.
But if I will wait for few seconds I can work propetly.
But problem doesn't disappear. If I want to go to the Device Manager or some function in Control Panel (services.msc for example), problem occurs again.
Here is the error code for Device Manager:
    Code:

    Signature of the problem:
       Problem event name: APPCRASH
       Application Name: mmc.exe
       Application Version: 6.1.7600.16385
       Application time stamp: 4a5bc808
Name of module with error: ntdll.dll
Version of the module with error: 6.1.7600.16385
The timestamp module with error: 4a5be02b
       Code exception: c000041d
       Transfer exception: 0000000000029328
       Operating System Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
       Locale ID: 1045
       Additional Information 1: d2d7
       Additional information 2: d2d7d58a8c99181f633fdc27923ac22e

But from what I see, its probably drivers problem as You recognised, because when I was working in Safe Mode, there wasnt any problems and Kaspersky was running all the time.
I didnt spend long time in Safe Mode, but I think everything was going to work fine.
I have the latest drivers for everything I think (except graphic, because on the newest ones Aero is freezing after few minutes, so Im using 178.13 graphic drivers, and everything is working fine with them), so its kinda though to see which driver can be doing this problem.

    Well that's not good:
This means a system file is corrupted or damaged. With Vista normally you could replace it with a proper one from another computer, but seven is rather new so you must find someone in your circle who has a clean one and replace it.

You should perform a "sfc/scannow" also to see if something else is corrupted.

    Yeah.
    Its always ntdll.dll error.
Probably there is something wrong with this file.
Maybe during installation of some application ntdll.dll get messed up.

I think many of us have Windows7 x64 latest build.
Could someone upload clean ntdll.dll file? Or at least the working one. I will try to replace it.
If Im thinking right, replacing ntdll.dll file should be done in Safe Mode, right?
Is there anything more that I should know?

    EDIT:
After "sfc /scannow" there wasnt any problems.

is this related at all to what you guys are talking about?

Hey guys I have a question. Is it possible that the cause of error is RTM Version of Windows 7 64 bit build? Are there any other members who experience this kind of error with their installed Windows 7 64 bit build?

First what I want to do is to replace the "ntdll.dll" file.
Maybe its really something wrong with this file after installing some application/driver.
Could someone upload clean "ntdll.dll" file for Windows7 (7600) x64.

And I also hope, that when final version of Windows7 arrive, everything would be working without any problems.

go to control panel, then system and security, then power options, then change plan settings, then change advanced power settings, then find processor power manegement, maximum processor state turn it down to 75%, press apply and restart right away if it crashes before restart you can start again from scratch because it goes back to the old settings, this worked for me.

Patricko, disabling KIS isn't the same as uninstalling. Try to uninstall it.
There is absolutely no need to "Internet Security" tools beyond antivirus. At least give it a try to make sure its not KIS 2010.
You could temporarily install Avast which scans for known web exploits too.

I agree with ZakMcRofl. Everything seems to start falling apart after you install KIS 2010. I would uninstall it for now, and use something else.
As I was saying earlier, you can always use it again in a few months after they have time to update the program with a few patches.
For all intents and purposes, current Anti Virus programs that claim Windows 7 compatibility are basing their claims on testing their software on the RC versions of Win7. Full RTM code compliance probably isn't going to happen for a few weeks yet, imho.

Micky1punch is also having similar issues, and he is also using KIS 2010. I find it hard to believe they are unrelated in some fashion.

I recommend you uninstall KIS 2010 before replacing "ntdll.dll". I generally consider replacing system files a last resort, after I have tried other methods to solve whatever issue I'm having.

I too have experienced explorer crashes with KIS 2010. But, it hasn't happened in a while. Maybe they fixed it with an update?

2 crash yesterday for me, always on right click.
    I have x64 ans KIS 2010 too, winrar 3.90 beta 5 too

Looked on google, someone get same crash with winamp. I have Winamp too.

So problem can come from one of these 3 apps. But problem seem to be rare because no problem before yesterday.

I am using WIn7 and KIS 2010 and was experiencing the appcrash with windows explorer.

Traced my problem to BlueSoleil bluetooth drivers. Removed them and no problems since.
