    Hello,

Okay first of all, thanks for the answer. So that way i can decompress the BIOS but how do I proceed?
What steps do I need to make to reset the password?
On the other hand i dont even now how to use the script properly, I just install python and save the file as *.py file?

    Thanks in advance

i havent bothered myself doing an extraction with it.. so im not sure all the way.. what i do know is dell uses END key to recover.

might have to make a CRISDISK aka wincris and use BIOS.WPH or similar.

I called Dell and got the run around and after being frustrated with NO help, I searched and searched. I used the web service link.First pw worked. THANK YOU so much. I can use this how I need to now. Thank you thank you thank you.

    Hello there!
I think I've read all the relevant threads, but didn't find any conclusive info on whether I can unlock BIOS pw on a Dell Latitude e5440 with a 1F66 suffix? Tried quite a few algorithms, but alas, nothing worked for me. Is there hope for a tool?
    Thanks in advance!

    greetings everybody....

I follow all the links I found and did what they say, I got now the file :

    E6420A07.exe_decompressed.hdr

I dont know what to do with it because I dont know the correct name for it

it would be very very usefull if someone help with the whole thing about Dell and 1D3B service tag...

I got a Dell Latitude CYRZFV1-1D3B and I'm stuck like a lot of users

I've call Dell technical service and they just put me in line, no answer from them

I dont know if this model has a j14 bypass method or alike!!!

    please, anybody???

    thanks in advance
