I presume that service tags that end with A or B will work with the tools this thread has offered, but will it be possible for a tool to remove my BIOS from my laptop? My service tag is: 60W5RQ1. Thanks:eek:

    Hi,

    I've got a Dell E6320 with -1D3B service TAG.
If i've understood well the instruction on this forum, I need to downgrade my BIOS in order to obtain another service tag such as 2A7B.
Then i will be able to generate a mastercode from bios-pw ?
To do so, can i use E6320A14.exe or an older version such as E6320A12.exe ? If yes, I just need to create an HRD file by using "E6320A14.exe/writehdrfile" in CMD and then flash it with the method you describe in the forum ?

Thanks in Advance for your answer
    Best regards,
    Syldego

I've read this first post, entered the BIOS and video that ends on 1D3B
Do you can refer to these links for BIOS?

"You may try to do a forceful BIOS recovery. Read and search the forums for instructions. Some useful links are below"

Hello everyone and thanks for the tips !

I try to force BIOS recovery a Latitude E6410 but nothing happen when I press END and I plug the power cable. The battery DEL blink orange and blue until y remove the power cable.
I've extracted the HDR file with the python script and put on a USB key for that.
I've try all the USB ports, I've also try to put the HDR file on a cd-rom and on the HDD directly with no success.

    I've try different bios file (A03 A09 P02).
I've try to format my usb key in different filesystem (FAT, FAT32, NTFS)...
I've try to wait at least 30 min at each try...

Does anyone had already achieve a forced BIOS downgrade on a 1F5A E6410 and could help me?
Maybe i'm using a wrong HDR file or something...

Sorry for my English (I'm french) and thanks in advance if you could help me :)

    Hello

I have now read trough mydigitallife BIOS section for 2 hours and need help.
    I have two laptops E5420 and E5430.

And both of them seems to be 1D3B and after hours of reading i understand that there is no BIOS password generator except for the payservices.

But there seems to be recover BIOS option.
And its here i get stuck.

I have downloaded 4 BIOS exe files and tryed to generate HDR file but it wont work.

    E5420A01.exe -writehdrfile
    E5420A02.exe -writehdrfile
    E5420A03.exe -writehdrfile

    Even tryed with "E5420A00.exe -writeromfile"

    It doesnt generate any files.

Does anybody have a clue on how to get HDR files on those exe?
It seems that this is the only option to get rid of the Bios password.
If somebody has other option, that would be grate to.

Thanks in advance, and sory for my bad english, im from sweden :)

Can anybody help me with Dell E5420 and E5430 ?
I have now extracted the HDR file and dont now how to name it.
Can i just open the HDR file with WinHEX or should i decode it to ROM or BIN and den decrypt it to get a name?
Without decrypting, when i use WinHEX on HDR file i can only se HDR in one place and there is only PFS.HDR, is that the name?
Becouse when i try that, nothing happens.

I have tryed to remove harddisk, batteri and power cable.
Put USB memory 128MB FAT with HDR file in USB port.
Press END and connect power cable.

But computer wont turn it self on, i have to press ON to start the computer and then it just starts normally.

What am i missing? Maybe its not END button? Name of hdr maybe isnt PFS.HDR ?

    Please help :(

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with service tag 6C52N3J-595B which I'm currently using as a working computer. I can enter the bios, it has no System Password nor HDD Password, but it does have an Admin password which doesn't let me change BIOS settings, specifically enable Virtualization.

Links in Section A generate a few passwords (4vkzighb, nnnnnnwn, 12hbdevk, x2snmjpo, wv9nsoui), all result in "incorrect password". It also generated 4 longer passwords that don't fit. Also tried "pv7yv4pa" (for 595B with bug, whatever that is) but it's also incorrect.

Section C recommends transferring ownership, after 2 months of waiting the reply arrived today, and it was denied due to "Previous Owner Information is not a match". I didn't enter any because this laptop was built from pieces of 2 damaged laptops and I never got the original owner's info.

Section B mentions downgrading the BIOS. My current version is A17 but I found A08 which adds support for Penryn (my CPU) and A09 improves support for it. Could downgrading the BIOS make the above passwords work?

if your keyboard is non QWERTY then you need to lookup AZERTY to QWERTY and press those then use CTRL enter.

the recovery works with this one
so the right .hdr in usb and no battery power cord out hold end key while plugging power and keep holding while u pressed power.
    let go after 15 seconds
