did you download iso with both versions (x86/x64)? I had this error until I downloaded x64 only from the media tool.

when using the Toolkit 2.5.3, it shows as Windows 8.1 instead of 10?!?!

Do I still use the KMS Activation? Help please.

All OK! MTK simply doesn't recognize correctly. If it fails, tell/post the Error it shows.

I tried the EZ-Activator and it just sits there saying "Attempting to Activate Microsoft Windows..." and does nothing.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Not use it, it tries to install wrong key and fails then.

What version is it Home or Pro?

I've read in multiple places that to do a clean install you do not need to enter a key. I had to enter the default key for the RTM build for Pro to install, otherwise home would install and then fail to activate. Anyone else see this?

There is non. That would need Fresh install and KMS, Volume is not Part of the free offer.

Thanks is clean install possible without an upgrade from Win 7.

Yep, Enterprise doesn't ask for key (Volume key is automatically installed). Activate with KMS tool afterwards.

Followed the instructions and it worked like a charm!

Both Win 10 and Office 16 say I have 179 days - does that mean I have to redo the KMS at that time or will it do it automatically every 180 days - sort of like a 'permanent' activation?
