Can you go home straight to enterprise or do you have to check in with pro first? **edit*** I tried all three keys they did not work
I tried the pro generic key. It does not work. **edit** tried it again now its upgrading. It took a few minutes to reach 100% but seems it's stuck there with the same 100% complete dialog. When or if it progresses do I use microsoft toolkit to activate? *edit** whats better?= install KMS server now or add the generic product key when ent. installs then install KMS
^^key shown is missing last char (T). First upgrade successfully to Enterprise then care about activation.
I really appreciate the help guys. Is it possible for an OEM activation or just stick to KMS? Is this a proper version? 15063.0.170317-1834.RS2_RELEASE_CLIENTENTERPRISEEVAL_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.iso
No OEM or HWID for Enterprise, only KMS. EVAL versions are always time-bombed, seek for version w/o EVAL in name.
Well, I don't read Russian so it's hard to tell how to download the files. I see a little download symbol but that brings up some dialog I don't understand.
Thanks guys for being so helpful. I spent a lot of time learning then creating themes for Firefox but have not spent a lot of time learning about downloading and activating windows OS. **edit** - so I don't need the svf extractor since these are both ISO files? Why do I need the multi OS version if I already have converted to Pro. Don't I just run Enterprise while i'm in windows then microsoft toolkit for KMS and activation?
@lynchknot : you don't seem to understand what i posted in my previous post, yet i tried to be as clear as possible, you won't have 2 ISOs, if you read carefully the intructions described in one of my previous posts, i explained that the multi 1703 iso will allow you to get win10 enterpise iso using svfx patch extractor but if you find this difficult to understand, forget about this and just use the enterpise iso that @Saurav posted above then proceed to the upgrade to enterprrise as i mentionned in this post => https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...alls-and-upgrading.62696/page-31#post-1359492 @Enthousiast : AFAIK, he already has 1703 version installed on his machine. otherwise, the steps that you told him to follow to upgrade to enterprise version won't allow him to have the "real" enterprise version on his machine for the simple reason that when you type the command line that allows to know to which windows versions his current win10 pro can be upgraded, enterprise version is missing in the list so that means that when he will enter the enterprise generic key to upgrade to enterprise version, it won't upgrade to the "real" enterprise, you will see enterprise version to appear in the activation tab but in reality it is pro version that is still installed on the machine and if you want to be sure about this all you have to do is to go to command prompt in admin mode then type this : Spoiler dism /online /get-currentedition By typing this command you will see that win10 pro is still installed on the machine so to be able to have the real windows enterprise installed on his machine, he will have to follow the instructions i gave him in this post => https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...alls-and-upgrading.62696/page-31#post-1359492 (he wil have to proceed to the upgrade from enterprise iso)
I have two ISOs because I downloaded from the link saurv provided rather than those Russian svf files. I was confused for a minute because I didn't know what an svf was. What I didn't understand was the need to download the multi version. Running winver, after changing the product key, shows I already have pro installed now (not activated) so all I need to do is run ent while logged into pro - . then KMS right?
ok so you say the same thing i said , he will be able to upgrade to enterprise by iso and keep apps and files after the upgrade is done.
