fastest windows 8 booting speed

I have an Asus ROG Z68 which has UEFI Bios but I did not install windows as an UEFI install.

I do not see Bios Time in Task Man either.

I am not sure if you need a Z77 which that quick boot setting to see it.

 

Humm i have Asus P8Z68 V-PRO, chipset 68.

 

I have z68/usb3 asrock motherboard and no timer too in task manager either..

 

its POSSIBLE of-course in Windows 8... Microsoft already demonstrated Fast boot in Windows 8

I will just update.. my asrock z68/usb3 have updated its bios so I have timer too on start up. Have ultra boot as well but my GPU bios GOP don't support it :O

 

I've only seen the timer work with UEFI, havent seen it with legacy

i disabled it and went back to legacy,couldn't tap keyboard fast enough to get to bios before windows started,in case i needed to boot from dvd,couldn't get to uefi from within win settings because i had changed graphics card and power supply,i would just get a continues beep because of safe boot,

 

some manufacturers gives an application to boot in UEFI
