I play stoneold Medal of Honor Allied Assault, and much are GTA SA:MP haters too. But these games are nice!
These are the first few that come to my mind : Colonization Seems largly forgotten, overlooked and outmarketed by the Civilization series altough being from the same makers. 4D-stuntsdrive Loved the playability which was far better than of any game at the time and the fact that you could customize the tracks.
Here are few games which anyone never played but I play it. It all are brilliant games. Hit The Road WonderBoy The Treasures Of Montezuma Atlantis Quest Cradle Of Rome
I also played alot of MOH: AA on my PS2, very nice game. I remember i had a stoneold pc game, starwars game i think on windows 95 but i cant remember its name lol.
Err... pretty much everybody (who has played it) loves Super Mario Bros 3. My addition would have to be "Lagoon" on SNES I think. It is (or was) often discarded as a bad/mediocre Zelda-clone with stiff controls (unable to move diagonally), unbalanced leveling (even a single level could make a difference between a boss being virtually impossible or fairly easy), and an insane difficulty level towards the end. Those criticisms are not without reason, but for some reason, I still like the game.
