Just to clarify, you took the .fd file and flas**t then put it on a cd then boot into dos and ran the command "flas**t po10s180.fd"
Yes. This is the only way I would do it, personally. I do not use the autoexec commands. I always flash manually..
LOL, dont ever try using command prompt in windows ever. I was using killdisk (google it) to format my drive before I installed it, so I noticed it also uses freedos. So I just added the files onto my usb flash drive. Booted into killdisk, but press esc to go into dos, put in the flash command and pow! That was me, lol, you can use any way to boot into dos, then flash it.
so i have a 98 boot disk from what was posted. I boot into dos but i cant change from a: to C: where my flas**t and file is at
do everything from a:\ I suggest for floppy and bios flashing, you dr dos (which can be found at bootdisk.com) It's pretty much lightweight and gives you enough room for the bios file and flasher.
You cannot change the rsdt table as of now..you can only add slic of the same OEM..There is Toshiba SLICs available.. There is more to inserting a slic than just the slic itself..a LOT of things have to match. That is why we like to get RWEverything dumps.
