They key will be blocked but in the future a new, working one, will appear. The OEM Table error has nothing to do with the key either, it seems. I ran slic info BEFORE inserting cert and key and even then it says OEM Table error. I hope this does not affect future activations and is just a cosmetic error. Would be nice if an expert could clarify.
It might be a common "error" in bioses that have been simply upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1. The SLIC cert might still be 2.0. I have seen other screenshots with that error, it seems like it is not limited to this HP Bios. Still i'd feel better if someone could clarify, e.g. tell me "Don't worry", cause then my HP Dv9207 would be done in terms of Win7 upgrade
Both our machines have the 30BD Motherboard. So can we just ignore the other two versions? Now again, both our win7 activated just fine. Does that mean our bios, despite this small error, is ok, or should we really redo the mod? If it is ok this way, i don't mind, but if we can expect complications in the future due to this error, it would probably be worth redoing the bios. Thank you!
Calgop, just to be sure, which command line did you used to run phlash16? phlash16 BIOS.WPH /x /s /c /mode=3 ?
