Both our machines have the 30BD Motherboard. So can we just ignore the other two versions? Now again, both our win7 activated just fine. Does that mean our bios, despite this small error, is ok, or should we really redo the mod? If it is ok this way, i don't mind, but if we can expect complications in the future due to this error, it would probably be worth redoing the bios. Thank you!

Hi ALL, I flashed my dv 2833tx laptop which is from the dv2700 Atrist edition family using DOS.... Apparently my laptop is bricked now. It won't POST at all, when I power On, the hard disk light blinks 3 times & all LEDs stay lit with no display.. Pls help me recover my laptop
Same here!! I flashed my dv2700 or specific dv2915nr and now it is bricked. I followed all 4 recovery procedures as exact as I could and the only thing I get while it is reading from my floppy is LOUD EAR PIERCING BEEPS!!! The weird thing is the beeps are in sync with the floppy read light. Since I have no video I suspect they are error beeps and the recovery bios.wph is not being written. Anyway after about 5 min of the most annoying LOUD BEEPS it stops I power off and power on and same bricked book. Anyone have an alternate route to get this thing fixed. Please Please help me out with some advice. I tried different switch commands for phlash16 by editing the autoexec.bat file but still not working. Please HELP!
