I guess it's because you enabled fast-startup in win10, when it shuts down, it would add a command to boot sector to first check into the win10 drive.
No settings were changed or 'enabled' in either Win 10 system ....only used each system for about 10 min. and let drivers auto update... Maybe 3 or 4 reboots and then shutdown... removed the dual boot 10 hdd....boot to 7 and wham...
Disable Auto Updates Code: reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v AUOptions /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f Separate Recommended Updates Code: reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v IncludeRecommendedUpdates /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f WU working as usual
Yea, Thanks...! Just what I did...I wonder if uninstalling WMC will reverse this, or even if it's worth bothering with to reverse...?....
I guess that could be it, though I'm beginning to think that it might be a bug. I've tested with 1680x1050 and lower resolutions. I'll have to ask around, as this is truly baffling me. I'm not even sure which is more common or even which is correct.
Woop Woop! Been super busy till now, but I got it working in Hyper-V for a change from VMWare. Pretty easy. Looks like my guess about being released October 1st was right on the spot. I should start a blog! jk I'll leave that to the professionals. I'm soooooooooooo glad we didn't have to wait till November. Cannot wait for the first bigish update to the preview build (in two weeks?)
correct on Win7. you have to click paste thought. you can mark text to capture also. in win8.1 if you right click it pastes automatically.
Actually the current info points to January for the next preview build for Windows 10. Every time I type that I really just wanna say Windows X.
Hiding the Search and Task View icons. Have any of you tried the method/download described in this video on Youtube 7OUCiF7XMjc I have. I scanned the file before using it but wish someone would figure out a method that doesn't add a delay. Afraid it's beyond my abilities.
This seems interesting... If we can make this work on Windows by default it would be nice. I mean them finally doing something about how crappy cmd is comparable to other command line shells is a miracle.
