Thank for your reply. Do you mean I have to instal Windows 8 first and then export drivers to use in Windows 10 TP ?

I notice that Command Prompt can be opened fully to the size of your computer screen.

telemetry is supposed to be like a meta-data reporting/collection thing.
It would be interesting to find out which ip addresses it sends to, and whether or not the data is encrypted sufficiently, though.
Not that it matters with the NSA being able to simply hand out warrants at will.

Now let's see what we can find out using wireshark, it's up and running.
A lot of encrypted traffic indeed.

Hmm... well .. unless you somehow trigger the telemetry report, it will just send the normal system data.
The only 2 other ip addresses there that aren't local are google, inc. and digitalocean cloud storage thing.
I'm guessing the digitalocean thing is contracted by google to store the chrome user data.

right, I had to close the browser, those others were google toolbar queries
exactly why I turned on name resolution in wireshark

    Can you check it bud?
If it doesn't encrypt those vortex packets, that would be a HUGE problem.

Open a CMD window and click the little icon top-left, then choose 'Properties' :cool2:.
