    True, no argument there.

What's the significance of the "TONSCHUH" part of TONSCHUH.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} ?

If you create a directory with just the {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} nothing happens, but with the TONSCHUH part added you get the God Mode stuff.

It's just what it names the folder... You can use Palladin.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} if you wish.

Has anybody observed copying files through USB 3 is faster in Windows 10 than Windows 8.1?

Are you serious? That is a very large file size. I compare the transfer rate of Windows 10 using 18.5 GB file size to Windows 8.1 there's about 2 minutes difference in experience. I start copying from the Windows 8.1 before the Windows 10, which means the latter is more than 2 minutes faster using USB 3.

Oh, I see. You are possibly in a movie editing industry. That is interestingly a huge file to copy in one time. That would have gotten stuck along the line if you were using USB 2.0 in copying the file. Is that correct?

The highest transfer rate I have ever hit in USB 3.0 is 68 MBPS and it 's in Toshiba 500 GB external hard disk in Windows 10. What external hard disk are you using?

I have been suspicious of that my Toshiba external hard disk. Sometimes it refuses to upload some files for unknown reasons. That has been happening since it dropped from a desk. I think it is time for me to change it though.

had it installed for a while as main OS and even with USB 2.0 copying seemed to be faster. didn't run any tests to verify though.

i think he meant he transfered 1.4TB total not a 1.4TB file.

I know that is what you mean. It is still a file looking at it from 1.4 Terabytes size. However, I would like to know something about your 'Seagate freeagent goflex' external hard disk. How secured is it during accidental impact?
