lol. i've got an old maxtor drive i dropped on the floor by accident. took a lickin' and kept on tickin'.
The era of external SSD with large capacity would save people from such experience. I like ticking sound sometimes because it is like music to the ears. Oftentimes I'd go close to my father's clock just to hear it ticking.
LOL wow I didn't even read through this,, and I was excited when I started using the start screen instead of the menu,, then thought -_- damn people already knew this
Has anybody checked if DirctX 12 is included in the new Preview Build 9860? The 'Action Center' in Windows phone has been ported to Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860, according to Windows blog.
I found something in the new build, zPC Settings, it appears to be PC Settings and Control Panel Combined.
I guess we gonna see a new kind of images Code: /Split-FfuImage /ImageFile:<path_to_image_file> /SFUFile:<path_to_sfu> /FileSize:<MB-Size> Splits an existing .ffu file into multiple read-only split FFU files. Use /FileSize to specify the maximum size in megabytes (MB) for each created file. Example: DISM.exe /Split-FfuImage /ImageFile:flash.ffu /SFUFile:flash.sfu /FileSize:650 /Apply-FfuImage /ImageFile:<path_to_image_file> /ApplyDrive:<target_drive> [/SFUFile:<pattern>] Applies an existing .ffu image to a specified drive. Use /SFUFile to reference split FFU files (SFUs). <pattern> is the naming pattern and location of split files. Examples: DISM.exe /Apply-FfuImage /ImageFile:flash.ffu /ApplyDrive:\\.\PhysicalDrive0 DISM.exe /Apply-FfuImage /ImageFile:flash.sfu /SFUFile:flash*.sfu /ApplyDrive:\\.\PhysicalDrive0
Yep, I noticed that too, very useful, though I doubt this will be enough to kill the old control panel.
I don't think so it will be a wise or good idea for microsoft to kill the old control panel as the worst thing in such kind of business is where people or customers resist to change and killing the old control panel will decline its market share that's for sure
