Thank you for the detail of your Windows 10 build 9860. But, I don't have that network Charm to the right-hand side of the screen.
so weird, which version you use? if you click "Open Network Layout", network charm won't appear? maybe we should wait another member answer.
Are you sure you're scrolling all the way down on the Manage screen? Over the last few days, I've been trying to figure out a direct way (without opening the PC Settings window) to get to that fly-out screen, but so far have been unsuccessful. It's so much nicer for connecting to VPNs.
You are correct. I haven't being doing that lately. Thank you for that question. That solves the problem.
not positive if already talked about but today I found an old China-made tablet with atom cpu 1.4, little ram and over-all bad shape. With 8.1 a resolution 1024x600 was not accepted by 8/81 but luckily W10TP makes Start screen work like a charm. 9860 version made the magic and now, that old tablet makes sense again. No more display_1_downscaling necessary
yes,it doesn't matter what i do i can't get thumbnails to stay showing, even in music artwork,i delete them all and copy them back from another computer and they show, but after reboot i only get default icons,if i change the name of the picture it will show it's thumbnail, but after reboot it's the default icon again,iv'e reported it to microsoft.
i had that problem also worked on it for a while it happened on both machines i did upgrade to. i finally re installed with a clean install using the iso i created with the esd file they have here. problem gone thumbnails work as they opposed to. i first thought i fixed the problem with a disk clean up of the thumbsnail also i was noticing the files where being set at read only too.
it started straight after the 9860 upgrade,i think i'll wait to see if there's another release that might fix it.
Missing from Sounds list (Windows 10 Build 9860), but available in registry, can be added manually then they will appear in the sounds list... @mmres.dll,-5846 = Exit Windows @mmres.dll,-5850 = Start Windows @mmres.dll,-5852 = Windows Logoff @mmres.dll,-5853 = Windows Logon @mmres.dll,-5869 = Windows Unlock Should be added here : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\EventLabels Example, make a SystemStart key, add string this value >> @mmres.dll,-5850 But I've not tried if it works or not... too bugged.. can someone backup/export the default registry keys of AppEvents.reg to a registry file? I dont have the default windows sound list anymore and am too lazy to recreate it or fix it
Before 'playing' with systems and all their files it is rfecommended to make an backup FIRST! If that would have been done there wouldn't be any need to ask others for to do the work!
lmao, that was funny, I always do that and I could care less, I can fix it manually or reinstall to fix it but im too lazy I'm not that dumb fyi I can't continue making the soundpack at this rate though, I'm making a soundpack including Windows Vista Sound Schemes that are Tinker, Glass, Pearl, Default & Beta, and I might do 7 as well, and then classic sounds
I am thinking the same thing along that line. Since the preview build 9860 upgrade I haven't experienced any primary error or problem.
