    It definitely proves that reading here selectively doesn't really help :cool2:. Was posted several times now. Unfortunately people sometimes play around, then install updates .... and then remember; ooops .NET is missing :nsa:

    #3. Since integration of .NET 3 is done best on the virgin system, after VMware tools install, i followed that useful mantra and enabled via CMD.

    Thank you but it didn't work for me. I even try the batch file from winaero.com and I am having the same problem.

    At least F: should be adapted to point to to actual drive letter of the mounted 9888 ISO :cool2:.




    EDIT: Problems only appear when certain updates are installed before trying to enable .Net 3. Always do on virgin system :nsa:.

    I presumed he knows F: should indicate drive's letter and should be changed. :p

    And yes, virgin system thing is true :biggrin:
