Is this something new?...How does one check the identifier count? Only appears as Win Next Pre-Release, none under Win Next SKU's.
For the Windows 8.1 style Network Flyout, do the following: Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Control Panel\Settings\Network Take ownership of the "Network" key/folder [right click, Permissions; Select "Advanced" in the Permissions window; In the Advanced window, select "Change" where the owner field is (at the top of the window); Type in your username and save your changes; Close the advanced window] Now select "Administrators" in the security tab; Make sure "Full control" is selected, then apply changes. Double click "ReplaceVan"; Change it's value 2
Start/end range values are clearly set per each partnumber per group/configid/channel/edition in the pkeyconfig file. The post you quoted refers specifically to the actconfigid I answered to back then. Other ranges and channels (including for PPIPro) were added since then. There is a tool to conveniently read it by the way PPI is since then confirmed to be the Surface Hub SKU.
Yup I'm aware of the ranges - the identifer count threw me. BTW. MAK keys with the new build number in the PID breaks when getting count - I had to force it to send a build <10000.
I can change my GPU drivers without rebooting my computer. I was able to disable/re-enable my HDMI drivers on Windows 8.1 without reboot, but not GPU. I've noticed that since build 9926.
Build 10049 Again "drag and drop" doesn't work on certain programs (i. e. Teracopy, ProShow Producer).
Did MS change Icons from recent builds ? I found this picture and the icons look much better now (my opinion)
Current builds still uses older icons, but we may see these in the coming builds, probably after BUILD conference.
Recycle bin still needs improvement but the other icons in that picture are OK. At least MS seems to listen - this time
