So it turns out that the majority of content within the modern apps News, Weather, Sports, and Money is HTTP, while the entire advertisement stuff is HTTPS. It took some time, but I've got them filtered completely with Adguard now.

 

Asphalt 8: Airborne has be updated. The red icon is now yellow with some upgrade in the Sector 8 part of the game.

 

Nice someone talk about apps.
It seems to me most of the people here are interesting the OS only and not the apps (I'm not talking about build-in apps).

 

Last one seems fine to me.

 

Build 10136 looks fine to me.

New App Updates Today:

• Word Preview, PowerPoint Preview and Excel Preview are now called Word Mobile Preview, PowerPoint Mobile Preview and Excel Mobile Preview.
• The updates for Mail and Calendar refer to them as Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar.
• There's also an update for the Microsoft Photos app and Money app.

The good news is that I haven't spotted the addition of advertisements in any others app yet. They seem to be updating these apps through Store (Beta) rather consistently, several times per week. I am still not a fan of modern/metro apps as of yet but I am trying to keep an open mind and for the most part curious to see which direction this all goes.

 

I am on the verge of receiving Epic Quest in the Insider Achievements for completing 25 quests and providing feedback. I've completed 24 and need 1 more. But I'm not sure if this is something to be proud of or just some silly game to elicit feedback.

 

Anyone knows how to bring back the 4 column layout from earlier previews?

 

It's both.

Talking about insider achievements, I just noticed that they've added a lot more achievements. I used to have 4, now I have 10. They added red and orange badges.

 

Thanks for the heads up. You are right. Weird, I've got 6 badges now and yesterday before I went to bed it was just 4. And the colors have changed, interesting. The remaining badges that were just added are trying to solicit more Feedback and obtain Upvotes. Somehow I don't think that will assist bringing in useful feedback.

Has anybody have some tweak to change background login screen instead Windows Hero?

 

had not thought about that before, it should be possible now. before it was only a color, now we have an image. and if we have an image we can change the image (more than likely)
