Findings in M3 Leak---discussion and questions

Replaced the vista file with the 7955 one from Thomas1124. But after reboot it crashes and cant get back into windows now, it cant get passed login screen. Even tryed safemode but also no luck with that.

 

You are the first with that problem.

 

IMHO, i think the patched slc,dll is giving alot of people here on the forums alot of headaches!!! i wouldn't mess with it,then again,it is for testing

 

Uh...no he isn't. I had the same problem as did two others o.o

Installed patched 7955 slc.dll, can't get aero working anymore.

 

Same here, seems to work good except no aero

 

after patching and restarting the OS, the aero didn't work anymore ... back on original slc.dll 'till something good gets on the web.

 

Looking into it later...removed the link.

With new dll Windows Update crashes...

 

Ok here's a question, but the dll that causes the crashing in computer properties only does so because the SLOpen call sent by systemcpl.dll is failing. So someone patch systemcpl and use the SLC wrapper DLL that works

 

I installed the slc.dll and unlocked most of the features but for some odd reason it won't let me change my wallpaper

slc swapped and I have no ribbon or aero: / how to fix this?
