    aww, I forgot to mention this step:
    set this value in registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsft\Windows\Curren tVersion\Explorer\Advanced
    "SHSXSWasEnabled" DWORD: 1

    You are onto something... using the .dll and your regedit when I logged back in... it went back through the setting-up your desktop... IE was the only thing on my taskbar, start menu works fine, nothing changed in immersive apps but the close minimize and maximze buttons are different and my wallpaper was resized, maybe getting somewhere? :worthy:

    Forgot to add that when I move windows around now it just shows their outline

    Same thing is happening to me... keeps reverting back to 0 as soon as I close regedit.

    Does anybody has a problem like me?For example when I restart my computer it always says "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" ... -.- anybody?

    That was happening to me, but then I reinstalled with BA version and I don't have that problem., also I couldn't get windows update to work

    PS: In Torko version my Windows Update works normally..

    try this ? in taskmanager, kill explorer.exe processes, set the registry key, run explorer.exe again.

    well, I think I should give up here, I cant reproduce a secret dll after all. especially when I cant actuallly test it. :(

    but I think this 'shsxs.dll' thing is the key to the immersive shell ui of explorer, hope someone can work it out.

    Cannot kill explorer.exe permanently, it was re-opened by the system instantly.

    dont use 'end task' in applications, go to processes list and 'kill' them.
