Then slc.dll needs to get an additional patch. At least the versionnumber inside needs to be set to 6.2.7955.... with a recourse editor. Maybe also some function in the file that returns the version number has to be set to return 6.2.7955.

Probably scooby knows? Is the versionnumber somewhere else than in it's recourses?

Boot from VHD

I'm running Build 7955 (Boot from VHD) and I had the same problem wich someone else reported after patching slc.dll with the one wich was leaked by sCooBy^... But now I applied that patch

and after that I deleted slc.dll.org (the original dll renamed by Automated Installation.bat) and replaced slc.dll with tho first one wich was leaked a couple days ago (25,5 KB) now, feauters are still unlocked and system information page in control panel works fine too (Sorry for my english)

 

You guys with the WU issues need to stop using an SLC.dll from a vista beta build, there's another slc floating around labeled 7984, USE THAT ONE

Save and Make it with this dimensions Width/Height 192X192.
Place it in this Direction: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures
Name it: usertileXX.ms-usertilelarge (Where XX is comes the number)
Go to: Control Panel>User Accounts and Family Safety>User Accounts>Your Look
Open your own made vid
DONE!!!

Place it in this Direction: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures
Name it: usertileXX.ms-usertilelarge (Where XX is comes the number)

Select your own made vid
DONE!!!
